Calico was a great place for our family after a day of exploring the area. It was a casual atmosphere, and the service was great. Kids were able to draw on the kid menus and the portions for the kids were great. The spagetti with a meatball filled up my 8yr old daughter. Pizza was excellent, and saved well for the next morning. The lasagna was great too. Highly recommend reservations though- it can get full.

I’ve eaten here several times and the food is always great. Tonight we sat a couple extra minutes to be waited on, no big deal for us, and the manager went above and beyond to apologize for the wait and comp our drinks. Not a necessary thing but a very thoughtful and professional move. It led me to leave this review to say the food is great, the atmosphere is so nice and the service is excellent!

There is so much fancy in Jackson, but when all you crave is solid Italian comfort food that exceeds expectations, pick Calico! The pasta, lasagna, salads, pizza - all just as you would expect. Ample portions, great taste, and the warmest, laid back, family friendly atmosphere. I was thrilled they had the classic chocolate cake for dessert. YUM!

I almost let a few negative reviews prevent me from going to Calico. Glad I followed the 4.4 stars and my gut instinct. Calico is amazing in a few ways. The views from the side porch (where I sat) were terrific. The gardens are peaceful and well maintained. The history and longevity of this institution is impressive. Even the little details like the original menus from the 60’s showing a large pizza at less than 5.00 adds to the aura. Each item we got was great. White bean soup (I ate it before I could take a picture sorry), bruschetta served as design your own, lasagne and home made pasta mushroom dish were all terrific. The fresh baked bread dropped on your table to get things going is scrumptious. I wish I tried the salad, but how much can I eat in one sitting? No matter. I will be back!

We had the Crispy Eggplant and the Bolognese, ( up graded with freshly made pasta) fantastic!! So good we're going back tomorrow night. Best to make reservations to get a table outside along the porch rail.

First off let me start by saying the food here is some of the best I've ever had. Really well prepared and cooked to perfection, even the presentation is well done and not too over the top. That being said the drinks here are decent, but it is hard to stay on par with the food that is so delicious. The service is also good but some servers spend more time chatting with the locals than actually serving but I'm sure they enjoy it. Even as a non local I'd still recommend trying this establishment, watch for moose

Awesome place! One of the only restaurants around Jackson that had an affordable steak that came with a side. The pizza was also pretty good.

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Calico Restaurant and Bar in Wilson, Wyoming, and we must say it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. This hidden gem deserves every bit of praise for its fantastic drinks, delectable appetizers, and mouthwatering entrees. To kick off our evening, we indulged in the Bruschetta as our appetizer, and it was a delightful introduction to the meal. The flavors were perfectly balanced, with the crispy bread acting as a canvas for the fresh, tangy toppings. It left us eager for what was to come. For our entrees, we chose the Rigatoni Bolognese on our first visit, and it was an absolute revelation. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the rich, meaty Bolognese sauce was heavenly. It was a dish that transported us to the heart of Italy, leaving us craving more. So enamored were we with our initial experience that we returned for a second visit, and this time we opted for the Chicken Parmesan and Lasagna. Both dishes surpassed our expectations. The Chicken Parmesan boasted a golden, crispy coating enveloping tender chicken, smothered in a luscious tomato sauce. It was a true comfort food masterpiece. As for the Lasagna, it was a symphony of flavors. Layers of pasta, cheese, and a sumptuous meat sauce came together to create a harmonious blend of textures and tastes that made each bite a moment to savor. What truly sets Calico apart is the exceptional quality of their sauces. Each dish we tried featured a sauce that was expertly crafted and bursting with flavor. It was evident that a great deal of care and attention went into perfecting every element of the meal. To accompany our culinary adventure, we ordered Tito's martinis, and they were nothing short of excellent. The bartenders at Calico are skilled mixologists who know how to create a balanced and refreshing cocktail. The martinis were perfectly chilled, with just the right amount of vermouth. We are not big dessert people but we had to try their lady fingers Tiramisu and it was also fantastic and the cognac flavor was awesome. The overall atmosphere at Calico is warm, inviting, and exudes a sense of sophistication. The staff is knowledgeable, attentive, and passionate about their craft. They made us feel welcomed and ensured that our dining experience was nothing short of extraordinary. If we had more time we would have wanted to try their pizzas expecting that their sauce is fantastic on their other meals. In conclusion, Calico Restaurant and Bar in Wilson, Wyoming, has become one of our favorite dining establishments. The combination of fantastic drinks, exceptional appetizers, and unforgettable entrees make it a culinary destination worth seeking out. If you're searching for an exquisite dining experience, look no further than Calico. Prepare to be amazed by their unparalleled sauces and to embark on a culinary journey you won't soon forget.
